
TCN Portugal is actively involved in the Portuguese the retail market and has currently
a portfolio of five developments under construction. Together, they represent an estimated
investment of about 210 million euros (M€). Talking to VI News, Pedro Neves, the company’s CEO, explained «we have developments all over the country, in the North as well as in the South, located in towns such as Porto, Guarda, Pinhal Novo, Seixal Lagos».
Pedro Neves added that «[the company] identified two vectors in the Portuguese retail market
where it has been putting all its money». The first vector concerns «urban regeneration associated to retail projects, such as those of the Bolhão and Guarda markets». The Pinhal Novo, Seixal and Lagos developments are part of the «second vector, which we have called car driven retail», most recent project is the one in Lagos, «which is still at early stage of development». It
will involve an investment of 28 M€ and generate an additional 18,640 m² of GLA.
