At this muddy time of year, anyone in a wheelchair, and anyone with them, can appreciate the potential problems of visiting a garden. The same is true for parents pushing children in buggies. Even in drier periods, gravel can be as much of a problem for wheels as mud or grass.
But is that all there is to “accessibility”? I decided to talk to some of the experts in this area, to discover what the current thinking is.
