Deverá manter limpa de matos/silvas uma faixa de pelo menos 50 metros junto às edificações (habitações, estaleiros, armazéns, oficinas, fábricas);
As copas das árvores e dos arbustos deverão estar distanciadas no mínimo 5 metros da edificação e nunca se poderão projectar sobre o seu telhado.
Sempre que possível, deverá ser criada uma faixa pavimentada de 1 m a 2 m de largura, circundando todo o edifício.
